Ratchet & Clank is a 3D platform video game developed by Insomniac Games and published by Sony Computer Entertainment for the PlayStation 2 in 2002. Ratchet & Clank is the first game in the series and precedes Going Commando. The game follows the anthropomorphic character Ratchet meeting the robot Clank on his home planet.

The owner of the garage and workshop on Veldin where Ratchet plies his trade as a mechanic. Grim is the closest thing to a mentor our young Lombax hero has ever had.
Insomniac may be known for hit games like Marvel’s Spider-Man or Sunset Overdrive, but the Ratchet and Clank series is the studio’s real bread and butter. These third-person sci-fi experiences hit all the right marks: Fast action, smooth gameplay, memorable characters, and charm galore. However, they’re not available on all platforms, leaving some gamers green with envy. Is there a way to play these games on a computer? Is Ratchet and Clank available for PC?
Are Ratchet and Clank games on PC?
Ratchet and Clank is not on PC. All of the games in the series have released exclusively for PlayStation consoles. Plus, now that Sony owns Ratchet and Clank developer Insomniac Games, there’s even less of a chance that the series will ever come to PC.
A little history lesson might help clear things up. While Insomniac Games has worked closely with Sony and the PlayStation team for decades, they weren’t originally a first-party studio. Instead, they were what’s called a second-party studio: Sony helped finance certain games or series, but Insomniac was otherwise free to develop projects for other platforms.
